When I paint, I must feel the flow. It is an energetic force to which all living and non-living things on our planet are subject. These flows come with different emotions and moods. This painting was born when everything inside me was literally boiling. I splashed paints onto the black canvas as if I wanted to release a whole storm of feelings. In the center is a powerful color explosion: fiery red, yellow, bright pink, blue, green… Colors overlap, splatter, flow, and scratch the space. Some strokes I made with my hands, some with broad movements, and in some places, the paint simply flew and dripped as it wished. I didn’t choose the black background by chance. On it, all this madness of color ignites especially strongly, like a flash in the dark, because everything is born from emptiness. I wanted to convey that state when emotions overflow and it’s impossible to keep them inside. Joy, rage, delight, freedom — all at once. The black frame seems to contain this explosion so it doesn’t scatter across the room. Honestly, when I look at it now, it still energizes me. It turned out very alive. I simply named it — ”Flow.”
