Landscape in impressionist style on gratted cardboard depicting a field of flowering rapeseed. Rapeseed blooms brightly, covering the fields with a carpet of yellow flowers. The author conveys in his work the feeling of quiet enjoyment of the view of such a field. It sort of invites you to come up, take a closer look at the flowers, smell them.... You just must be careful not to go into the field. Rapeseed stains clothes a lot… And in the title, the author uses a play on words – ”rapeseed” is the name of a plant (in Russian sounds “Rhaps”), but it is also a part of the word ”rhapsody”, and this is from the world of music. You stand in front of such a field, and summer performs for you a beautiful piece of bright scenery, the rustle of the wind and the buzzing of bees.
