Vladimir Lebedev – Autumn melancholy
This work continues to present a view of one place on the edge of Sergiev Posad as a landscape on an autumn evening. The author imagines this place at the moment when the leaves change color from green to different shades of red and yellow. Autumn in central Russia has a special beauty. In good weather, the views of autumn fields and forests lead to slight sadness and thoughtfulness. In an impressionistic manner, the artist presents these emotions while observing the fading of nature. The cycle is closing – winter is coming soon again. The painting can be hung on the wall without a frame, because the image is continued at the ends.
