The view through the wind glass of the author’s car. As he approached the pedestrian crossing, he stopped to let the pedestrian pass. Yes, there are such ones nowadays. He walks slowly; tail is held high. He doesn’t rush, doesn’t look around. He’s completely confident in the correctness of his actions. The car in the oncoming lane also stopped and let him pass. This isn’t the first time the author has seen cats using pedestrian crossings. It feels like they’re doing it consciously. They understand more than we imagine they do. Sometimes it seems like in another two or three years, we’ll be able to see a cat with a smartphone…
