A quiet moment at the edge of day, where light dissolves into water. The composition is built around the reflection in water. The fading glow of the sky spreads across the surface around the dark silhouettes of the distant mountains. The boundary between sky and water becomes hardly visible, creating a sense of depth and uncertainty. Working in an impressionistic style with restrained realism, the artist focuses on the subtle transitions of light rather than on detail. The foreground, strewn with stones, catches the first sight, then, the luminous center draws the eye inward. This artwork continues the “Rivers and Lakes” series, exploring the dialogue between light, reflection, and stillness. The painting is finished at all ends and can be displayed without a frame.
