Sunset landscape at the Volga River in Nizhny Novgorod with bright transitions of color tones and cloud density. The author was inspired by the sight of pronounced gradients from warm to cold tones in the colors of the sky and clouds. Moreover, the color gradients of the sky were repeated in the glare on the clouds, and the clouds themselves changed their consistency and density from left to right. And the river reflected this color symphony, adding its own gradients. The Volga is always beautiful, but this time it appeared in its full evening splendor. The painting continues the series ”Rivers and Lakes”, it is made in the style of impressionism. The work can be hung on the wall without a frame, because the image goes to the ends.
