The landscape of the banks of the Vorya River in the evening, when the sun brightly illuminates the scene before sunset. The author conveys the impressions of observing how the water reflects the coastal willows. At times, the water is covered with fine ripples from a light wind, and then the shore display turns into a chaos of subtle strokes. But the wind subsides, and the landscape appears on the surface, sometimes very clear, sometimes slightly blurred. The author got carried away with this game of pictures and tried to capture one of the states. The surface of the water is covered place to place with pollen from flowering plants and trees, which adds gold to the palette. At such a time, only mosquitoes can distract from work.
