The landscape of the evening scene from the embankment in Rybinsk with a wide view of the Volga River. Above all this, a magnificent play of light unfolds in the sky; the shades change each other, moving from hot fiery to cold blue-gray. Clouds add drama to this game with their horizontal strokes. On the embankment, glowing lanterns add additional shades to this color show. The figures of pedestrians on the embankment add an element of liveliness to the work atmosphere, inviting people to walk there and enjoy a warm, bright evening. The author uses an impressionistic technique to emphasize the emotional state of nature and man at this moment. The work continues the series ”Rivers and Lakes”. It can be hung on the wall without a frame, because the image goes to the ends.
