The landscape of the lake in the mountains in the evening, when the sky begins to take on warm shades, which will soon light up with a sunset glow. In the foreground are several pine trees with bizarrely curved trunks. Their silhouettes divide the view of the lake’s surface and the mountains behind into parts. To fantasize, the pines appear as cracks in a mirror that has been dropped and broken. The image, although still intact, has already begun to disintegrate into fragments, they have shifted and are beginning to live their own separate lives. The author presented the landscape as a moment when the mirror of the lake is still perceived as an entire one, but just a small movement, and each fragment would begin to reflect the world separately. The work is done in an impressionistic technique, with the transition of the image to the ends. This allows you to hang it on the wall without a frame. This is a continuation of the series of paintings by the author ”Rivers and Lakes”.
