The watercolor painting on canvas represents a view of a small bay on one of the islands of the Lavezzi archipelago to south of Corsica. This is an absolutely extraordinary place – there are no residents, no residential buildings. You can only get there by ferry from Corsica and you can’t stay after the last ferry leaves. You cannot litter, you cannot come with dogs. A place where everything is for nature. Fantastic views of rocks, rounded off by water, shallow coves with clear water. The sky is high and the fierce Corsican sun is dissipating in a haze, but it warms mercilessly. Walking around this island is a whole philosophical action. You go and think, think, think.... One of the most vivid impressions of Corsica…
