The watercolor drawing represents a view of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra in winter. It’s a day in February, it’s about sunset. But today the sun decided to give a hint of the imminent spring and diluted the frosty atmosphere with the first light touches of warmth on the face, on the walls, on the snow. This is the moment when the cold acquires a little warmth, which cannot destroy it yet, but is felt everywhere as subtle hint. The work is made on cotton paper and appears to be a pair for work ”Cold”
