The painting is a fantasy on the theme of a unicorn. The artist’s granddaughter is fond of unicorns, and he decided to paint a small picture of this animal for her. For greater persuasiveness, the author presented the unicorn in a normal setting – just in the forest. It’s as if the viewer comes to the edge of the forest and suddenly sees him. But so, by chance, a lot of real animals were discovered....
