Vladimir Lebedev – Three suns
A landscape with a river scene in the evening, when the sun creates a light path on the water. The author presents a view of the wide Kama River, over which a drama of shades of sunlight and bizarrely shaped clouds is playing out in the sky. They connect and repel each other, creating a dance of light and color. The river reflects this view, but in such a way that not one, but two reflections of the sun in the water are visible. Another one appeared in a small, quiet backwater formed by a narrow spit overgrown with vegetation. Thus, the focus of the painting looks like a kind of light vertical garland of three suns. The artist, in impressionistic technique, reflects his admiration for the view and the joy of being present at such a vivid moment. He has a special emotional connection with this place, because he grew up on this river. The painting continues the series ”Rivers and lakes”, it can be hung on the wall without a frame, because the image is continued at the ends.
